I invest in Canadian microcaps because there is less competition, lack of liquidity, no analyst converge, no institutions sticking their d*cks in, prime for mispricing. There are many good opportunities, don't be scared just because they are small. I read sedar filings everyday.
I invest in companies with positive cash flow and a clear operating history. Hopefully management has skin in the game and has incentive to cut costs. I like net cash. I like EV/EBIT = 2. Normalized EBIT, ofc.
I also look at net-nets with a catalyst.
I do GARP. But my reasonable price is very reasonable. I need cheap things.
I'm a concentrated investor with 3-4 holdings.
